Summary

At Sunny's Spa and Beauty Lounge, bright yellow doors lead into whimsical, light-filled interiors that overlook the seaside, setting the stage for a playful twist on beauty, well-being, and "soul care." Offering a blend of both traditional and holistic rituals, the full-service spa features classic massages, innovative treatments, and a full-service beauty lounge. Locally and globally sourced products provide an eclectic blend of "farm to sea" treatments inspired by the power and endless energy of the sun. The lavish 7,000-square-foot space features a dry warming sitting area with radiant heat, cooling mist and aromatherapy showers, a sauna that can be transformed into a tropical bath for a sanarium experience, treatment rooms, and a lounge area overlooking the dazzling California coast. Sunny's was conceptualized by the award-winning spa design firm, Blu Spas Inc, whose work spans more than 400 spas in 40 countries. The company has been named one of the Top Innovators in the World by Hospitality Design Magazine.

This is a part time/seasonal role with an estimated end date of 09/30/2026. The hourly rate for this position is $17.00/hr

In addition to the hourly rate, therapists are also eligible for a treatment rate per service performed.

Essential Functions:

• Adhere to given schedule and appointments.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and rooms, as well as, restock of linens and products between and at the end of each working shift.

Must possess the ability to perform consecutive services in pre-determined period of time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond to individual guest needs and adhere to The Seabird Resort standards as written in the employee handbook.
• Must be in accordance with State Licensing & Education.
• Must have a minimum of one year professional massage experience.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
