Job Description:

• Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payor guidelines.

• Charges patients accurately and timely according to insurance guidelines, as applicable.

• Sets up and breaks down work area at the start and end of each shift.

• Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and treatment areas daily.

• Provides direct and indirect massage services to specific age groups in the Spa and at offsite events and departments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Up to date with industry standards and techniques [Required]
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
• Strong verbal and written communication skills [Required]
• Offers superior customer service to ensure a positive patient experience [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ providing massage therapy in a licensed environment [Preferred]
• 2+ providing massage therapy in a hospital based and/or sports medicine environment. [Preferred]
• Experience in medical massage, neuromuscular, myofascial, reflexology, sports massage, prenatal massage [Preferred]

• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]

Pay Range:

$18.32 - $29.31
