Our client is a high-growth specialty contractor focused on the installation and distribution of masonry products, including stone, stucco, brick, and block. The company serves commercial and residential customers across multiple markets throughout the Midwest and Mountain West.
The company’s growth story is particularly impressive. Since a change in ownership more than a decade ago, the business has grown from less than $2 million in annual revenue to more than $100 million today. Along the way, it has evolved from a primarily residential, single-market operation into a diversified, multi-state business, with commercial work now accounting for approximately 75% of revenue.
Much of that growth has been built from the ground up. Over the past several years, the leadership team has successfully entered multiple new markets through greenfield expansion, building local teams, customer relationships, and operations from scratch. Those newer markets now generate more than half of the company’s total revenue, demonstrating a proven ability to replicate its model and scale successfully.
Today, the company serves a diverse mix of end markets, including single-family residential, multifamily, education, healthcare, government, retail, senior living, hospitality, and other commercial construction. This diversification, paired with continued geographic expansion, has helped create a resilient platform with significant opportunity for continued growth.
The company employs approximately 400 nonunion team members, supplemented by a dedicated network of independent contractors, and continues to invest in the people, infrastructure, and leadership needed for its next stage of growth.
