Responsibilities:- Lay and bind building materials such as brick, stone, and concrete block using mortar and other substances
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and work procedures
- Construct, repair, and restore masonry structures including walls, walkways, patios, and foundations
- Mix mortar and grout to proper consistency and apply to joints and surfaces
- Cut and shape masonry materials using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect work for quality, alignment, and adherence to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar masonry/construction role
- Proficiency with masonry tools, equipment, and materials (brick, block, stone, mortar)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans and specifications
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, including troweling, cutting, and finishing
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation to job sites in Sunnyvale, CA area
