Job Description
The Marketing Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology tools and platforms within the organization. This role operates at the intersection of marketing and technology, ensuring that digital solutions align with business objectives and enhance marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of marketing platforms along with a deep knowledge of marketing strategies.
This role involves technical aspects but operates from a business perspective. This individual will work closely with stakeholders, internal & external developers and is a key contact with other departments. The Marketing Technology Manager reports to Marketing Operations while working closely with Marketing Stakeholders, Engineering, Project Managers, Product Owners, Procurement, Legal and Security.
This is a full-time in-office position working with our Marketing team out of our corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to create thorough and clear acceptance criteria for tasks and projects
Experience with Martech tools like Content Management Systems, tag management, Customer Data Platforms, Automation Saas, and emerging AI.
High-level understanding of how SEO, UI/UX, multivariate testing, and personalization interact with marketing and lead generation efforts.
Adept at multitasking and handling projects with many moving parts.
Maintains both exceptional focus under tight timelines, as well as attention to detail, keeping a quality and customer-first mindset.
Strong collaboration skills, ability to work with a team as well as being able to self-direct work activities.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, etc.
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business nee
Demonstrated project management skills.
Understanding of common client and service-side web technologies.
