Marketing Support Specialist
\n6D Helmets
\nThe Marketing Support Specialist works day-to-day within the marketing department to keep the website, content, social channels, and marketing campaigns running smoothly. This role provides hands-on support for advertising, email marketing, reporting, and other key marketing initiatives. Serving as the execution engine of the marketing function, the Marketing Support Specialist ensures projects are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning tasks from start to finish.
\nCompensation: $55,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience.
\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
\nResponsibilities
\nWebsite & eCommerce Support
\n• Builds and publishes all new product listings across helmets, parts, and accessories
\n• Coordinates with sales and product teams to ensure accurate and timely product uploads
\n• Troubleshoots and resolves front-end and back-end inventory display issues
\n• Supports eCommerce operations through updates, visual content, and product flow
\n• Manages all dealer and distributor listings on the website, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information
\n• Assists with building landing pages and campaign pages for promotions and launches
\nContent & Social Media Management
\n• Organizes and archives weekly content from races, events, and athlete activities
\n• Oversees company social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
\n• Plans and schedules content tailored to each platform
\n• Manages direct messages and user interaction to maintain brand voice and responsiveness
\n• Answers customer service questions and concerns; forwards rider support requests and business/partnership inquiries to the right person
\n• Tracks engagement and helps optimize post performance
\nMarketing & Advertising Support
\n• Assists with paid social and search advertising campaigns (Meta, Google), creative trafficking, scheduling, and basic monitoring
\n• Supports email marketing campaigns, building, scheduling, and QA'ing sends
\n• Helps maintain a shared content and campaign calendar across web, email, social, and paid channels
\n• Pulls and organizes basic performance reporting (Shopify analytics, GA4, social/email platforms) for review
\n• Provides general day-to-day support across marketing and eCommerce priorities
\nMarketing Operations Support
\n• Tracks competitor launches, pricing, and campaigns to keep the team informed
\n• Coordinates photo/video shoot logistics, scheduling, product sample prep, and vendor communication
\n• Maintains the brand asset library, logos, guidelines, and approved imagery, organized and easy to hand off internally or to dealers
\n• Keeps customer and email segmentation data clean and up to date in the CRM/email platform
\nEvents
\n• Assists with event planning and logistics, including booth setup, display coordination, and collateral prep
\n• Represents the brand on-site at events with athlete and consumer interaction
\n• Provides photo and video coverage during events for real-time content, when able
\nProduct Launches & Development
\n• Supports rollout of major product launches, creates and curates launch content across web, social, and internal platforms
\n• Supports timeline execution through asset creation and field marketing presence
\n• Prepares media kits and digital launch assets
\n• Contributes real-world rider feedback during product development that can improve fit, function, and user experience
\nRequired Skills & Qualifications
\n• Knowledgeable in Shopify, capable of building website pages, adding products, and managing site content
\n• Understands the social media landscape: posting times, platform trends, and best practices
\n• Strong written communication skills, comfortable writing product copy, captions, and email content
\n• Comfortable with basic reporting and analytics tools (Shopify analytics, GA4)
\n• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines across channels at once
\n• Strong communicator, comfortable interacting directly with athletes, dealers, and customers
\n• Passionate about action sports and enthusiastic about staying current on industry trends, products, events, and the communities that drive the market.
\n• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks and reporting
\n• Knowledgeable in mountain biking and motocross culture, athlete expectations, competition levels, and emerging trends
\n• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team and wearing multiple hats
\n• Must be able to reliably commute to and work on-site at the company's La Habra, California office on a daily basis.
\nPreferred / Plus
\n• Skilled in photography and videography, including on-location and studio shooting
\n• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom
\n• Experience with an email marketing platform (e.g., Klaviyo)
\n• Familiarity with paid advertising platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads)
\n• Basic graphic design experience for marketing assets
\n• SEO familiarity for product listings and content
