AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Marketing Specialist at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. This is a temporary position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversees the total guest experience at assigned account(s) to ensure efficient and effective execution of all marketing campaigns, promotions and engagement activities to drive sales, increase guest satisfaction and foster brand awareness
Assist in the creation of strategic marketing and engagement plans for account(s)
Create and execute social media calendar of events
Execute marketing and engagement initiatives within assigned account(s)
Follow proper receiving guidelines upon delivery of marketing assets
Utilize appropriate templates and ensure all assets are within brand standard guidelines
Work with account team(s) under the direction of the CEM to successfully merchandise all dining locations, within both retail and residential dining areas
Track progress and satisfaction
Implement survey standards and timelines
Provide and analyze results of feedback to track guest satisfaction
Track success of campaigns, promotions and events
Researches and monitors current trends
Communicate and promote engagement activities through traditional and digital platforms
Create and implement assets for guest engagement
Maintain an exceptional digital presence via social platforms, track analytics
Meet with account managers to ensure implementation and satisfaction of engagement activities
Obtain feedback on satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction with engagement and guest experience initiatives
Brainstorm solutions to problems/concerns and/or new guest experience strategies
Collaborate with assigned Division Field Marketing Manager(s) to align marketing tactics based on their strategic direction for account(s)
General
Incorporates AVI's Vision, Mission, Success Statement and Core Values into all projects and assignments as appropriate.
Actively participates as an engaged and productive member of the AVI team.
Follows AVI and department policies and procedures.
Actively participates in staff meetings and conference calls.

Be customer driven with strong leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Proficient in Social Media
Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Word, PowerPoint and Excel and other related software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot direction efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Experience in food service operation and execution preferred
Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and work extra hours if needed on assignments
Executes professional standards at all times: attire, communication and behavior
