Description

Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Location: Sacramento, CA ( Hybrid )
Duration: 52 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description:

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development
2 years of experience writing or editing in a regulated environment such as healthcare, health plans, insurance, or similar
Ability to occasionally come onsite for in-person team collaboration, Sacramento area preferred
Experience with compliance-driven, member-facing, or stakeholder-facing communications
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, member-friendly communications
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple communication deliverables independently with minimal ramp-up

Preferred Requirements:

Experience supporting health plan operations or payer communications
Familiarity with CMS, state regulatory guidelines, HPMS, or healthcare compliance frameworks
Experience partnering with legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and leadership teams
Project management or vendor management experience
Local to the Sacramento area or within reasonable commuting distance
Experience with Medicare member materials, enrollment communications, or regulated health plan marketing
