Position Summary: The Marketing Specialist (hybrid) supports a dynamic marketing team across initiatives, ranging from content creation to the development of integrated multi-channel campaigns for new and existing initiatives. They work closely with a Marketing Manager, internal clients, management and teams in the Digital and Communication organizations to create and execute marketing plans that drive business outcomes. The Marketing Specialist builds proficiency in all aspects of marketing, digital and communications best practices. Assists in creating a marketing plan and supports the execution of deliverables defined in that plan including competitive analysis, content development, launch readiness/announcements, digital marketing (SEO/SEM), collateral (e.g., online/offline brochures), advertising, events/trade-show materials and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities, working closely to develop integrated multi-channel campaigns that drive volume and referrals as well as raise brand

awareness and preference.

  • Works with other teams within Marketing (Digital and Communication) to create and launch

marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives. Develops an understanding of the competitive landscape, assigned customer segments and clinical issues by bringing an outside-in perspective to all we do through research, competitive analysis, market segmentation etc. working with the Marketing Manager.

  • Regularly attend client meetings to acquire service line and health system knowledge and

coordinate the execution of campaign and brand priorities.

  • Track and report on the budget as well as measures of success in the market.
  • Ensure there is consistent application of brand messaging, tone and look and feel.
  • Work with the marketing team to pilot new/innovative opportunities.
  • Organize and assist in market research and evaluation as appropriate and relevant.
  • Keep current on industry trends and new marketing methods to improve marketing and brand

awareness effectiveness.

  • Maintain and create project tracking and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Trust, Service Lines and Geographies as well as other functional

departments to fulfill marketing materials requests.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree required

Experience: At least 1 year experience in marketing and communications.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
