Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The UCLA Blood & Platelet Center is seeking a motivated Student Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to support marketing initiatives that increase blood donor recruitment, awareness, and community engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Create engaging graphics, videos, reels, stories, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with donor recruitment campaigns, campus outreach, and special events.
  • Collaborate with Blood & Platelet Center staff to develop and implement marketing strategies that increase donor participation.
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve engagement and audience growth.

Note: This is a student worker position and is open exclusively to current UCLA students.

Salary Range: $25.00/hour - $48.50/hour

Job Qualifications

  • Must be a current UCLA student.
  • High school diploma (e.g. HiSET or GED)
  • Experience using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the blood donation process - preferred
