POSITION SUMMARY

Chick-fil-A Maple Valley is seeking a motivated, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Catering Sales Director to grow our restaurant's presence throughout the community, develop new business, and drive catering sales.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable meeting with local business owners, creating engaging social media content, coordinating community events, and serving guests inside the restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Social Media

• Develop and execute local marketing strategies that increase restaurant traffic, brand awareness, and sales.
• Manage restaurant social media accounts, creating engaging content, photography, videos, and promotional campaigns.
• Promote seasonal offerings, catering capabilities, community partnerships, and restaurant events.
• Maintain Chick-fil-A brand standards across all marketing platforms and communications.
• Track marketing performance, engagement, and return on investment.

Catering & Outside Sales

• Proactively identify, pursue, and develop new catering customers throughout Maple Valley and surrounding communities.
• Build relationships with businesses, corporate offices, schools, churches, medical offices, sports organizations, and event planners.
• Promote Chick-fil-A catering through in-person visits, product sampling, networking, and direct outreach.
• Generate new catering accounts, maintain existing relationships, and develop recurring business.
• Coordinate catering orders with restaurant leadership to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time fulfillment.
• Track catering revenue, sales opportunities, customer retention, and monthly growth.

Community Outreach & Engagement

• Establish meaningful partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations.
• Plan and execute community events, Spirit Nights, fundraisers, sponsorships, and restaurant promotions.
• Represent Chick-fil-A Maple Valley at community gatherings, networking events, and local business functions.
• Manage community donation and sponsorship requests within approved budgets.
• Identify creative opportunities to strengthen community relationships and build lasting brand loyalty.

Restaurant Operations & Leadership

• Work scheduled shifts inside the restaurant, supporting daily operations and peak business periods.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Front of House operations, guest hospitality, and restaurant service standards.
• Support catering preparation, packaging, delivery, and special events as needed.
• Model Chick-fil-A's Core 4, 2nd Mile Service, and commitment to Winning Hearts Every Day.
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership to ensure marketing and catering commitments align with operational capabilities.
• Lead by example, uphold restaurant standards, and contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in marketing, outside sales, business development, hospitality, or community relations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with social media, digital content creation, and basic marketing tools.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, creative, and accountable for measurable results.
• Comfortable prospecting new customers, making sales presentations, and building business relationships.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with restaurant leadership.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outreach and catering activities.
• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and Saturdays for restaurant operations and community events.

SUCCESS MEASURED BY

• Consistent month-over-month catering sales growth.
• New business accounts and recurring catering customers.
• Increased restaurant visibility, social media engagement, and local brand awareness.
• Successful community partnerships, events, and outreach initiatives.
• Strong guest satisfaction, catering accuracy, and on-time fulfillment.
