Description

Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking a Project Management Coordinator – Marketing & Communications for a remote 12-month contract assignment.

Must reside in the United States and be able to work onsite occasionally at an office located in one of the following metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, New York, Austin, Chicago, or Dallas.

This role supports marketing and communications workstreams related to technology enhancements within the organization’s recordkeeping business. The coordinator will help manage timelines, compliance submissions, project documentation, and stakeholder communications to keep projects moving forward.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across business, marketing, creative, and compliance teams. Financial services experience is strongly preferred, and a background or interest in marketing and communications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate compliance submissions, approvals, and required documentation.
  • Manage projects and submissions through internal project management tool.
  • Coordinate updates to internal and external resources, including Seismic and public-facing websites.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, sales enablement, compliance, legal, writers, designers, and external agencies.
  • Track project status, action items, dependencies, and deadlines; escalate issues as needed.
  • Attend meetings, document action items, and follow up with stakeholders to keep work on track.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral and client communications.
  • Help improve processes and organization across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant experience; 3+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Project coordination, PMO, marketing operations, communications, or related experience.
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred; retirement, wealth management, investment management, or recordkeeping experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable working with both business and creative/marketing teams.
  • Experience with compliance or legal review processes is a plus.
  • Workfront and/or Seismic experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Project Management certification is not required.

Pay Rate: $36.07–$38.07/hour
