A New York personal injury and workers' compensation firm — about 120 people, with offices across the city, Long Island and New Jersey — is making its first in-house marketing hire.
The program already runs: TV, digital, paid and organic social, community events, an outside agency on the media buy, and a fractional CMO who sets the strategy with the founding partner. This is the person who executes it.
What you'll actually do
- Run the firm side of the Meta and Google accounts — the admin, the campaign builds, the reporting back to the partner.
- Keep the vendors moving: onboarding, station credit applications, W-9s, purchase authorizations, creative deadlines.
- Put the events together — venue, vendors, giveaways, the day-of.
- Own the review program and the social calendar; make your own graphics and short-form content.
- Run the email program and the content pipeline.
- Report to the founding partner and the fractional CMO on what's working and what isn't.
It is a little of everything, and it is hands-on. If you want to narrow into one specialty next, this isn't the seat. If you're the whole marketing department somewhere small and you like it, read on.
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years doing this work yourself — not managing the people who do it.
- You have personally been the admin on Meta Business Manager and/or Google Ads, at any budget.
- You make your own creative (Canva or Adobe) and post it yourself.
- You've put on an event, run an email program, or handled a review program — ideally all three.
- A consumer-facing, lead-driven background: a law firm, a medical or dental practice, home services, real estate, fitness, DTC, or similar.
- Stable: two-plus years in your current or last seat.
The details
- Hybrid: three days a week in the firm's downtown Manhattan office, two remote.
- You already live in the New York metro area. This is not a relocation hire.
- Base $75,000–$90,000, depending on experience.
- Full-time.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future.
How this works: apply with a resume. If it fits, you'll hear from Jeff Roberts at L&W Recruiting with a few call windows for a 20-minute phone call. On that call I'll tell you the firm and we go from there. Straight answers both ways.
