We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead all marketing efforts for the museum’s restaurant, café, and event programming—working in close partnership with the LMNA marketing team.
This role is focused on driving visibility, demand, and traffic beyond museum visitors, positioning the food & beverage outlets as standalone destinations within the Los Angeles market.
This is a highly impactful role for someone who understands how to blend hospitality, culture, and strategy to build awareness and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic to restaurant, café, and event outlets.
- Partner closely with LMNA marketing to align messaging, brand standards, and campaign timing.
- Create initiatives that attract both museum guests and external audiences.
- Build and manage digital presence across social media, email, and web platforms.
- Oversee content creation, including photography, video, and storytelling.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, partnerships, and local activations.
- Collaborate with operations teams to support key business periods and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Analyze performance data and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Support event marketing, including private events, special programming, and seasonal activations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Los Angeles dining and cultural landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in marketing, public relations, communications, business, or other related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in marketing, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and computer skills required.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a committed, organized user of social media tools, with an understanding of how to drive programs through digital media and manage database marketing to reach new customers and drive increased revenue.
- Strong work ethic.
- Accountable and detail-oriented; must be able to juggle many tasks within time constraints.
- Microsoft Office applications and word processing skills required, as well as database management, graphic design, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of social media, web-based advertising, and website maintenance.
- Experience in the Los Angeles market or similar major markets preferred.
- Team player who is a creative and proactive problem solver.
- Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays, and extended number of days when required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
