About The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Marketing Manager based in the Atlanta office to support business development initiatives across a fast-paced commercial real estate environment. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives working independently, can manage complex projects from concept through execution, and is comfortable partnering across brokerage, leadership, and marketing teams to drive business development efforts across the Southeast region.

The Business Development Marketing Manager will lead the development of proposals, presentations, client-facing materials, pursuit strategies, and marketing initiatives that support internal collaborators selling the organization's products and services. The ideal candidate excels at managing complex projects from concept through execution, developing compelling client-facing content, and contributing to business strategy. This role requires the ability to synthesize limited input, extract key insights from stakeholders, and translate conversations or rough ideas into polished, persuasive deliverables. Success requires strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in B2B marketing and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

This individual will also leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, improve workflows, elevate marketing outputs, and enable data-informed decision-making.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of business development and marketing projects with minimal oversight
  • Take ownership of projects independently, proactively driving next steps, problem-solving challenges, and ensuring accountability through completion
  • Develop high-quality proposals, pitch decks, presentations, RFP/RFQ responses, and other client-facing materials using InDesign and PowerPoint, and in collaboration with design team
  • Partner with brokers, stakeholders and leadership to develop tailored pursuit strategies and engagement materials
  • Distill complex or incomplete information into structure, client-ready messaging and content for deliverables
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and deadlines
  • Facilitate meetings, align stakeholders, and drive clear decisions and next steps
  • Present strategic recommendations and influence decision-making with confidence and clarity
  • Collaborate across marketing, research, and brokerage teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform client pursuits and strategy
  • Maintain templates, branding standards, and best practices for marketing deliverables
  • Support client engagement initiatives, including events, campaigns, and thought leadership
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Apply AI tools to optimize workflows, enhance content, and improve reporting and personalization
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to advance marketing capabilities
  • Model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, proposals, or a related field
  • Ability to work in the Atlanta office at least three days per week
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and leadership
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging and visuals
  • Demonstrated success managing projects independently in deadline-driven environments
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and client-facing materials
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands under pressure
  • Strategic, accountable, and proactive mindset with strong follow-through
  • Consistently deliver polished, high-impact marketing and business development material with minimal direction
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, content development, and decision-making
  • Comfort adopting new technologies while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand standards
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with high attention to detail
