Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

Community Partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with apartment communities, local businesses, real estate professionals, schools, nonprofits, and other community organizations.
  • Meet with decision-makers to develop referral partnerships and opportunities for the agency to connect with their customers, employees, or residents.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective partners and follow up consistently.
Field Marketing and Lead Generation
  • Plan weekly outreach activities throughout the Memphis area.
  • Start conversations that generate quote opportunities, appointments, and referrals.
  • Collect accurate prospect information, track results, and coordinate with the sales team on follow-up.
Event Leadership
  • Identify community events and local marketing opportunities that support agency goals.
  • Plan and lead agency events, including registration, staffing, materials, setup, lead collection, and follow-up.
  • Evaluate events based on the opportunities and business they generate.
Brand Representation and Content Support
  • Represent the agency with energy and professionalism in community and business settings.
  • Capture photos and short videos from events and outreach activities for the agency’s social media team.
  • Manage promotional materials and help ensure the agency is represented consistently.
Tracking and Accountability
  • Maintain an accurate partnership database and marketing calendar.
  • Track outreach, meetings, events, leads, appointments, referrals, and resulting business.
  • Share event recaps and use performance results to improve future activities.
Required Skills and Characteristics:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence approaching new people
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • A sales-minded approach to community outreach
  • Strong organization, planning, and follow-up
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate events with team members
  • Comfort using email, calendars, spreadsheets, and lead-tracking systems
  • Reliable transportation for travel throughout the Memphis area
  • Availability to work Saturdays as a regular part of the schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in field marketing, community outreach, business development, event management, hospitality, leasing, or outside sales is preferred.
  • Existing Memphis-area relationships and experience developing referral partnerships are a plus.
  • Insurance experience is helpful but not required. We value personality, professionalism, work ethic, and the ability to create meaningful business opportunities.
Performance Measures:
Success will be measured by new partnership conversations, active referral relationships, events secured, valid quote opportunities, appointments, referrals, and business generated through field activities. Accurate lead tracking and consistent follow-up are essential.

Schedule Expectations:
This position generally works Monday through Thursday and Saturday, with Fridays and Sundays off. Saturday availability is essential because many community events take place on weekends. Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed for agency events or business opportunities.

What We Offer:
  • The opportunity to build and lead a visible community marketing function
  • Freedom to develop creative local partnerships and campaigns
  • A growth-oriented agency environment
  • Opportunities for increased responsibility based on performance
