Job Description
This announcement will be used to fill either a Marketing Lead or Marketing Associate role for the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences (KDHS), depending upon the successful candidate''s skills and experience. The Kasiska Division of Health Sciences (KDHS) Marketing Associate/Lead is responsible for oversight and coordination of all marketing efforts for the KDHS, which includes the Division of Health Sciences, two colleges, clinics at both the Pocatello and Meridian campuses and pharmacies across the state.Working closely with the KDHS Communications Associate/Lead and the KDHS clinics Business Promotions Specialist, the Marketing Associate/Lead will guide the creation and implementation of a cohesive, multi-faceted marketing strategy for KDHS priorities and units, with a focus on enrollment growth, program promotion, strategic initiatives, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Lead Objectives:
- Build awareness of and engagement with KDHS programs to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Understand the nuances and challenges faced by each department or program within KDHS in order to provide direction for marketing and recruitment goals and priorities.
- Continuously review, track metrics, update, and implement KDHS marketing strategic plans.
- Develop and manage annual marketing budget, track expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain and conduct current market research, including market analysis and exploring workforce needs and recruitment trends in both undergraduate and graduate programs to inform marketing strategy.
- Utilize social, digital, and traditional media to grow reach and engagement with targeted audiences, including executing internally driven marketing campaigns and working with an agency of record.
- Employ analytics and follow-up research to determine which ways provide the most return for a limited marketing budget.
- Employ digital marketing and digital data mining for target marketing of KDHS programs.
- Evaluate markets and media through research, focus groups, and other methods to continually identify new opportunities to get key university messages to key audiences.
- Develop and present reports that share research, campaign performance, and tactic effectiveness.
- Capture photographs and/or videos for print and electronic media ad campaigns.
- Serve on the ISU Strategic Marketing Team.
- Serve as an ISU brand ambassador, ensuring all promotional items and ad campaigns adhere to University guidelines.
- Support marketing and promotion of large events hosted by the KDHS.
- Work with the Business Promotions Specialist to promote revenue growth.
- Position requires travel to Meridian and Pocatello campuses and availability for occasional after-hours and weekend events.
Marketing Associate Objectives:
- Build awareness of and engagement with KDHS programs to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Provide specialized expertise for marketing and recruitment goals and priorities.
- Utilize social, digital, and traditional media to grow reach and engagement with targeted audiences, including executing internally driven marketing campaigns and working with an agency of record.

- Work with the University Marketing Director and KDHS leaders to prioritize marketing needs.
- Manage annual marketing budget.
