Position Title Marketing Content Coordinator Work Schedule Full-time 12-Months Monday through Friday as scheduled some evening and weekend work required

Duties include but are not limited to The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible managing the colleges digital channels creating engaging content monitoring social media engagement and provides overall support to the Marketing Department. The successful candidate will

  • Manage the colleges social media content maintain website accuracy and utilize analytics to improve marketing strategies that wil l enhance the reputation of Adrian College and increase enrollment outcomes.
  • Work with other members of the Marketing and Media Production teams to support the colleges marketing goals and objectives by assisting with social media and related online effor ts.
  • Excel in written and verbal communication and demonstrates industry knowledge to develop content and effectively use multiple social media platforms.
  • Take photos for social media and at events to create social media excitement.
  • Engage with social commu nity and facilitate conversations daily to grow follower base and increase engagement across multiple channels.
  • Execute day- to-day social media strategy including scheduling posting and community management on Instagram Facebook X LinkedIn You Tube TikTok and other emerging platforms.
  • Draft social media content coordinate graphics with other marketing team members as needed that are accurate engaging on trend and meets the high standards and consistent brand image of the college.
  • Collaborate with larger Marketing team and Division Leaders to populate social content that aligns with brand messaging promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitors social trends and provides insight on emerging platforms for social growth opportunities.
  • Makes recommen dations obtains approval and implements enhancements and modifications to the colleges social media accounts and website as needed.
  • Make decisions quickly resulting in favorable outcomes.
  • Manage numerous projects simultaneously with changing priorities.
  • Possess excellent prioritization organizational and time -management skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative flexibility professionalism under pressure and self -directed approach.
  • Function independently as well as to cultivate and maintain mutually respectful p roductive working relationships among members of the College community internal and external.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop manage and support a creative team that produces targeted results.
  • Possess superb writing and editing competency.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Minimum R equirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing Public Relations Communications or a related field and 1 -3 years of relevan t work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook Instagram X and TikTok.
  • Must demonstrate competency with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite Gmail and online communications.
  • Ability to write engaging copy that is on- brand consistent and app ropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast -paced goal driven environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings.
  • Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Manual Dexterity The fine motor skills required to operate a computer mouse and phone or to handle paper files and office equipment.
  • Visual Acuity The ability to see and read a computer screen for extended periods
  • SedentaryLight Lifting The ability to lift up to 1 5 lbs.
  • Reaching & Bending Occasionally needing to reach above head level or bend down to access low filing cabinets or plug in computer cables.
  • Noise Levels The ability to work in an environment with moderate noise phones ringing printers open office chatter.
