  • Business Development Initiatives: Support the execution of business development plans, strategic priorities, and growth initiatives while tracking progress, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Pitches & Proposals: Assist in preparing customized client presentations, pitch materials, and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses that showcase the firm's litigation capabilities and value proposition.
  • Rankings, Directories & Awards: Coordinate submissions, award nominations, and survey responses by gathering information, drafting content, managing timelines, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Marketing Materials: Maintain and update practice descriptions, case summaries, attorney biographies, website content, brochures, presentation templates, and other marketing collateral.
  • Litigation & Market Monitoring: Track significant litigation developments, legal news, judicial decisions, and industry trends while identifying and communicating potential business development opportunities.
  • Attorney Relationship Management: Build strong working relationships with attorneys, proactively gather information, respond to requests, and serve as a trusted resource for business development support.
  • Research & Competitive Intelligence: Partner with the Competitive Intelligence team to conduct research on industries, prospective clients, competitors, market trends, and firm experience.
  • Client Events & Sponsorships: Assist with the planning, execution, and tracking of seminars, conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, client entertainment activities, and other marketing events.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain accurate data within the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including contact information, mailing lists, client activities, and engagement records.
  • Experience & Data Management: Collect, draft, and maintain litigation matter descriptions, representative experience records, and case updates within the firm's experience database.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Business Development, Marketing, Communications, Research, and other business services teams to support firmwide initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Two to three years of post-graduate professional experience; law firm, legal, or professional services experience is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, proofreading, and editing skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with attorneys, clients, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Project Management & Organization: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, synthesize, and communicate business, legal, and market intelligence effectively.
  • Initiative & Problem-Solving: Self-motivated with sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to advancing projects and identifying solutions.
  • Collaboration & Client Service: A team-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional support and service.
  • Technology Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Additional Technical Experience: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as InterAction or Salesforce, along with Adobe, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Copilot, is an advantage.
