    Role and Responsibilities

Docufree (www.docufree.com) is a unified, cloud-based platform that combines SaaS software, AI, and certified human-in-the-loop services to capture, manage, and automate the document-driven workflows that regulated enterprises cannot get wrong. Leading organizations in financial services, insurance, government, healthcare, and legal rely on Docufree to digitize their information, manage it securely, and automate mission-critical processes with the accuracy and compliance those industries demand.

We are looking for an organized, self-directed Marketing Associate to drive outbound marketing and event execution for Docufree. You will build and run the outbound campaigns that generate qualified pipeline for our sales team, coordinate our presence at trade shows, conferences, and customer events, and execute the programs and activities outlined in the annual marketing budget. Because we market a sophisticated software platform across three solution areas — ScanCloud for capture, DocumentCloud for content management, and AutomateCloud for intelligent automation — this role requires someone who can write clearly, manage many moving parts at once, work comfortably with data and budgets, and partner closely with sales to turn marketing activity into pipeline. The role reports to marketing leadership.

    • Plan, build, and execute outbound marketing campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and direct mail that generate qualified pipeline across Docufree’s priority industries (financial services, insurance, government and education, healthcare, and legal).
    • Develop and maintain targeted prospect lists, segmentation, and nurture sequences in the marketing automation platform and CRM (SalesFlow), in partnership with sales on territory and account priorities.
    • Write and produce outbound campaign assets, including email copy, landing pages, one-pagers, case study summaries, and social posts, consistent with Docufree’s positioning and brand voice.
    • Coordinate Docufree’s presence at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events, including registration, logistics, booth materials, promotional items, shipping, and staffing schedules.
    • Manage pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up so that leads are captured, routed to the right sales representative, and tracked through to opportunity.
    • Execute the programs, campaigns, and activity calendar outlined in the annual marketing budget, tracking actual spend against plan and flagging variances to marketing leadership.
    • Maintain the marketing calendar and keep campaign, content, and event timelines on schedule across internal stakeholders and outside vendors.
    • Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, agencies, event organizers, and promotional suppliers, including quotes, contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
    • Report on campaign and event performance, including response rates, leads generated, cost per lead, and pipeline contribution, and recommend adjustments based on results.
    • Support distribution and amplification of Docufree content across the website, blog, LinkedIn, and email channels.
    • Partner closely with sales to align outbound activity with pipeline targets and ensure timely follow-up on marketing-sourced leads.
    • Maintain accurate records of campaign activity, lead sources, and event outcomes so that marketing contribution can be measured and reported.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Two or more years of experience in a B2B marketing role, with hands-on responsibility for executing campaigns and programs rather than only supporting them.
    • Demonstrated experience building and running outbound marketing campaigns that generated measurable leads or pipeline.
    • Experience coordinating trade shows, conferences, webinars, or customer events from planning through follow-up.
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional copy for email, web, and print.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and stakeholders without losing details.
    • Comfort working with budgets, tracking spend against plan, and managing vendor quotes and invoices.
    • Working proficiency with marketing automation and CRM tools, and comfort pulling and interpreting campaign performance data.
    • Ability to learn a sophisticated software platform and communicate its products and business value clearly to a business audience.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent professional experience.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience marketing B2B SaaS, software, or technology solutions.
    • Experience marketing into regulated industries (financial services, insurance, government and education, healthcare, or legal) or to enterprise, multi-stakeholder buying groups.
    • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (such as SalesFlow, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot).
    • Experience with content, design, or web tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or similar).
    • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) approaches and intent data.
    • Working understanding of document management, content management, or business process automation concepts.

    Additional Notes

    • Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus an annual performance-based incentive tied to pipeline and program execution.
    • This role offers a clear path to marketing manager or campaign management positions for strong performers.
    • Occasional evening and weekend work, along with travel, is required in connection with trade shows and customer events.
