As we continue growing our presence on Virginia's Eastern Shore, we're looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded Marketing Assistant to help us strengthen our local connections and expand awareness of our firm. This position will support our Marketing Manager while serving as a local presence for the firm throughout the Eastern Shore. From creating engaging content and supporting community events to building relationships with local businesses and organizations, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people just as much as creating great marketing.

What You'll Do
As our Marketing Assistant, you'll support marketing initiatives while helping grow Williams DeLoatche's visibility throughout Virginia's Eastern Shore.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media content across multiple firm platforms.
- Support the development of newsletters, email campaigns, blog posts, and other marketing communications.
- Help maintain the firm's content calendar and ensure marketing initiatives stay on schedule.
- Assist with planning and supporting community events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and local outreach efforts throughout the Eastern Shore.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, chambers of commerce, and community organizations.
- Design and update marketing materials using Canva or similar graphic design software.
- Proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency with the firm's brand standards.
- Maintain marketing databases, digital assets, and contact lists.
- Assist with tracking marketing performance and preparing monthly reports.
- Support CRM management and client outreach initiatives.
- Research local marketing opportunities, industry trends, and community partnerships.
- Assist with additional marketing projects as the department continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys both the creative side of marketing and being actively involved in the community.
Qualified candidates will have:
- At least two years of marketing experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail—accuracy is essential.
- Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software.
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Analytics, and basic SEO principles.
- Comfort using AI tools to support content creation while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine interest in building relationships throughout the Eastern Shore community.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with teammates across multiple office locations.

Schedule
- Part-Time (approximately 10 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule determined during orientation
- Primarily based on Virginia's Eastern Shore with occasional travel to other Williams DeLoatche offices for meetings, training, or firm events.
