    What You'll Do:
    • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing business partners to support membership growth
    • Identify and pursue new partnerships with businesses, organizations, professional networks, and community groups
    • Research target audiences, demographics, and market opportunities to uncover new avenues for growth
    • Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, sponsorships, expos, and other local activities
    • Plan and coordinate events, including logistics, vendor relationships, marketing materials, and sponsorship activation
    • Collaborate with marketing leadership to maintain consistent branding and messaging across campaigns and communication channels
    • Help develop and execute community outreach, promotional, and social media initiatives
    • Present and promote financial products and services while connecting prospective members with internal subject-matter experts when needed
    • Build productive relationships across marketing, lending, operations, and other departments to keep initiatives aligned
    • Help ensure websites, local listings, signage, posters, and other marketing channels feature accurate, consistent messaging
    • Monitor marketing material inventory and help ensure locations have the resources needed to support campaigns
    • Stay informed about marketing trends, financial services developments, and industry insights to recommend new content, promotions, campaigns, and outreach strategies
    • Support new product initiatives and contribute to special marketing and business development projects
    • Follow applicable financial-services compliance requirements, including BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, and member due diligence standards

    What We’re Looking For:
    • High school diploma or GED required; college degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field preferred
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial services and/or marketing, advertising, sales, business development, or a related field
    • Strong relationship-building, networking, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal communication and professional business writing abilities
    • Proven ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, events, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Creative problem-solving skills and the initiative to identify new marketing and business development opportunities
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with CRM systems, event management platforms, social media, and web publishing tools is preferred
    • Basic understanding of data analytics and the ability to use performance insights to improve outreach efforts is a plus
    • Previous credit union, banking, or financial institution experience is a plus, but not required
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for required local travel
    • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for community, networking, and special events
    • Ability to lift and move materials weighing at least 50 pounds as required for events and outreach activities, with reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals
