    TITLE: Market Research & Survey Canvasser (Student)
    Location: Little Village, Chicago
    Pay: $17.05/hour
    Hours: 10–15 hours per week during the month of October
     
    We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dominican University student to conduct in-person market research with small businesses in the Little Village neighborhood. The canvasser will go door-to-door, engage with small business owners, and invite them to complete a brief 20–25 question survey on an iPad.
     
    Qualifications:
    • Current student at Dominican University
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
    • Familiar with the Little Village neighborhood
    • Comfortable walking door-to-door for several hours
    • Friendly, confident, and able to engage professionally with small business owners
    • Available to work 10–15 hours per week during October
    • Basic technology proficiency, including use of an iPad or mobile device
    • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
    Responsibilities:
    • Visit small businesses throughout Little Village
    • Introduce the research project and explain the survey
    • Encourage business owners to participate
    • Assist participants with completing the survey on an iPad when needed
    • Accurately record survey participation and follow research protocols
