Marine Technician – Mercury Outboard

We are looking for a hands-on technician with strong experience servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Mercury outboard engines and related marine systems. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career with a respected marine organization on Cape Cod.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair Mercury outboard engines
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose electrical, fuel, steering, and other related marine systems
• Complete engine rigging, installations, and repowers when needed
• Perform sea trials and verify repairs are completed correctly
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair findings
• Work closely with the service team to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of marine technician or outboard service experience preferred
• Strong Mercury outboard experience highly preferred
• Experience troubleshooting marine mechanical and electrical systems
• Mercury certifications are a plus
• ABYC certifications are a plus
• Experience with Yamaha or Suzuki outboards is also valuable
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced marine service environment
