Marine Pile Driving Foreman - Lead the Crew!

A well-established, family-owned marine construction contractor is seeking an experienced Pile Driving Foreman to lead field crews on marine construction projects throughout the Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pile-driving professional who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role and oversee the safe, efficient execution of marine foundation and waterfront construction projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise pile-driving crews on marine construction projects.
• Direct the installation of timber, steel pipe, sheet pile and other foundation piles.
• Operate and oversee pile-driving equipment, cranes, barges and related heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications and pile-driving layouts.
• Coordinate daily work activities and crew assignments.
• Ensure piles are installed to the required location, elevation, alignment and penetration.
• Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, engineers and other field personnel.
• Monitor production, material requirements and project progress.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure OSHA and company safety requirements are followed.
• Identify potential jobsite issues and communicate solutions to project leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production records and equipment documentation.
• Train and mentor crew members while maintaining a strong safety and quality culture.
• Perform hands-on pile-driving and marine construction work when needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of pile-driving or marine construction experience preferred.
• Previous experience leading a pile-driving crew or working as a Lead Pile Driver/Foreman.
• Strong knowledge of pile-driving operations and marine construction methods.
• Experience with cranes, pile hammers, barges and heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and crew management.
• Ability to work around water, on barges and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
