Marine Inspector / Senior Marine Inspector
Locations: Portland, OR and Southern California
Experience Required: 3+ Years (Independent Field Experience Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Travel: Frequent local and regional travel to ports, shipyards, marine terminals, and customer facilities.
Hourly Range: $40-$50/per hour
Position Summary
ATS is seeking an experienced Marine Inspector to support our growing Marine Services division in Portland, Oregon and Southern California. This position requires an individual who can work independently, interface directly with clients, and perform a wide variety of marine inspection, survey, and quality assurance services aboard commercial vessels, government vessels, barges, terminals, and marine facilities.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing vessel inspections, thickness gauging, piping inspections, welding inspections, coating assessments, and shipyard oversight activities. Candidates with certifications or experience working with major classification societies and naval standards are strongly preferred.
