The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the marina yard, assisting with boat launches and retrievals, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the marina grounds. Key Responsibilities- Assist with launching and retrieving boats using marina equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marina equipment and facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the marina yard, including waste disposal and landscaping tasks.
- Inspect boats and equipment for damage or safety issues and report concerns to management.
- Operate forklifts, trailers, and other machinery as needed to move boats and equipment.
- Support seasonal setup and winterization of boats and marina facilities.
- Follow all safety protocols and marina policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service when needed.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in marina operations, boat handling, or yard maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, trailers, and other heavy equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during peak season.
