Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Finish paperwork for all truck loads shipping out
- Send out export paperwork to the proper customs agency (Panalpina or UTI)
- Send out proper paperwork for Nordic loads
- Send emails for all loads that are finished and loaded on Tip Top trailers as they are loaded.
- Send out shipping updates every 2 hours
- File all in-bound paperwork
- Keep track of all information for each truck load and input that information into the proper spread-sheets
- Keep track of inventory to make sure that product is being shipped out FIFO (first in, first out)
- Keep a constant line of communication between sales / truck coordinators if there are any issues with trucks being late or short
- Answer the phone whenever it rings in a very professional manner (i.e. Marietta shipping this is (insert name here))
- Although this is a very stressful, demanding position, it is very important to keep a positive, upbeat attitude throughout the day. You have to be able and willing to work as a part of a team.
