Training Specialist
Reporting to the Operations team, the Training Specialist will lead training initiatives that improve capability, consistency, safety and performance across the manufacturing organization.
- Develop and deploy standardized work instructions, training programs, and operator certification processes.
- Create engaging training materials including visual work instructions, presentations, process guides, and instructional content.
- Deliver hands-on training and coaching to production employees across multiple shifts.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify capability gaps and drive performance improvements.
- Build and maintain a centralized knowledge management system for operational best practices and training content.
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives by reducing process variation and reinforcing standard work execution.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain accurate training records to support compliance and audit readiness.

For the Training Specialist we are seeking:
- 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial operations environment.
- Experience developing operator training programs, on boarding processes, skills matrices, or certification systems.
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Leadership, Learning & Development, Technical Training, or Continuous Improvement.
- Experience creating and managing work instructions, standard operating procedures, and visual process documentation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Standard Work, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to engage manufacturing employees at all levels.
- Comfortable spending significant time on the production floor supporting operators and supervisors.
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations highly desirable.
