    Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Test Technician to support electrical product testing in a controlled lab environment. This role focuses on performing high voltage testing (208V 690V), ensuring product quality, and troubleshooting issues using diagnostic tools.
    This is a hands on, safety focused position in a Lean manufacturing environment. Training will begin on 1st shift, and the role is fully onsite. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to conclude earlier due to a scheduled facility closure, currently planned through the end of the year.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform visual inspections and electrical testing of products in accordance with standard operating procedures
    • Operate and set up test equipment, including:
      • Variac
      • Hi Pot / Ground Bond testers
      • Power analyzers
      • Oscilloscopes
      • Current clamps
      • Digital multimeters
    • Test products and accurately record results to confirm compliance with specifications
    • Troubleshoot failed tests using diagnostic tools and analytical methods
    • Maintain and update test reports and databases with accurate data
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in a restricted access test environment
    • Support continuous improvement in a Lean, one piece flow production environment
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to injury free operations

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical testing (208V 690V)
    • Associate s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
    • Hands on experience with electrical test equipment and measurement tools
    • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
    • Ability to work safely in a controlled lab environment
    • Willingness to train on 1st shift

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in manufacturing or product testing environments
    • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
    • Experience working with high mix electrical products
