About the Position
Muto Technology is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented
Manufacturing Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.
The Manufacturing Technician will support daily production operations by operating manufacturing equipment, completing work orders, handling materials, and assisting with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated saw equipment and CNC lathes to complete production work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with water jet equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
- Set up and operate additional manufacturing machinery as trained and authorized.
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Inspect materials and finished products for visible defects, damage, or quality concerns.
- Accurately complete production records, work orders, and other required documentation.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills and equipment knowledge.
- Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, or production environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Experience operating CNC lathes, automated saws, or similar production equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures and quality control practices.
