Manufacturing Technician III

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.

Duration: 12months W2 contract with high possibility of extension based on performance and depending on business needs
Shift Timing:6:00 AM - 02:30 PM CST
Pay Range: $30 to $35/Hour on W2

We value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.
 
About the role:
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. This includes QSR and ISO Standards.
• Maintains compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
• Work with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution.
• Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing related issues.
• Performs equipment setup and corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary.
• Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
• Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.
• Certifies manufacturing associates in the production processes.
• Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.

Required qualifications:

• 3 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
• Robotics/Automation equipment support experience

Preferred qualifications:

• 2- 4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Med device preferred.
