Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician I (Maintenance Mechanic / Welder) to join a busy manufacturing maintenance team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous industrial maintenance experience required
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures and repair instructions
Willingness to work rotating shifts as part of a quarterly schedule
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on equipment and facility structures
Inspect machinery and identify maintenance concerns before failures occur
Replace and repair motors, bearings, belts, conveyors, and other mechanical components
Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately
Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices
Assist with facility maintenance projects and additional duties as assigned
Work collaboratively with production personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial manufacturing maintenance background
Experience with conveyors, motors, bearings, and production equipment
Welding certification or fabrication experience
Strong preventive maintenance knowledge
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment
Ability to work in varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels common to manufacturing environments
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility
Exposure to machinery, welding operations, heat, dust, and production noise
Rotating shift schedule requiring flexibility and adaptability
PPE required while performing maintenance and welding activities
