Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician I supports daily production operations by performing mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. This role ensures products are built accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
Follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions to complete product builds
Perform repetitive PCB and electronic subassembly assembly
Execute hand soldering of small components to specified standards
Interpret and follow engineered drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Maintain clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstations
Accurately record production data and build completion information
Support continuous improvement efforts, including yield optimization and rework reduction
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or lead technicians
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven hand soldering experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Prior experience in production-line electronics assembly preferred
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
