Manufacturing Technician / BFS Machine Operator

My client, a medical device manufacturer in the Deerfield, IL area, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate blow-fill-seal (BFS) equipment producing sterile solutions. This is a hands-on production role in a regulated cGMP environment where precision and compliance directly support patient safety.

What you'll be doing
- Set up and operate BFS machines and support equipment to produce bottled sterile solutions
- Start up and maintain the purified water system
- Compound solutions according to SOPs and prescribed formulations
- Follow written procedures and maintain Good Manufacturing Practice and documentation compliance
- Support Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
About you
- Be able to do the job as described.
- High school diploma or GED; higher education a plus
- Hands-on mechanical experience, such as automotive repair, filling operations, or blow molding
- Comfortable reading blueprints and following written procedures precisely
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
