$23-$28 an Hour DOE - 1st shift 7am-4:30pm M-Thurs. Fri. 7am-11am

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support manufacturing operations:

• Understand operator challenges
• Participate in manufacturing process execution
• Root cause determination
• Design innovative solutions through process, tooling and technology
• Support training efforts

Solve problems by partnering with team:

• Consult with other engineers and tech experts
• Instigate vendor relations about new technologies
• Collaborate with machining experts
• Contribute to design reviews
• Contribute to risk assessments

Establish new manufacturing operations:

• Build engineering prototypes
• Build low volume products
• Establish build processes and work instructions
• Design and develop tooling

Contribute to verification and validation practices:

• Specify product requirements
• Establish verification and validation plans
• Execute tests on product
• Ensure that process execution is in accordance with plan & documentation

Qualifications / Requirements

• 2-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
• Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Prefer SolidWorks.
• Must have keen attention to detail and quality.

Desired Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Related military experience.
