Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Level 2 to join our team in Hanover, MD. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Job Responsibilities
- Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.
- Interpret and follow established processes and procedures.
- Read and interpret technical documentation, such as prints, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Must be willing to perform work on weekends as required.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
- Perform basic math and measurement functions.
- Communicate nonconformances to management and quality assurance.
- Operating industrial equipment such as precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
