To learn more, visit www.excelligence.com. Job SummaryExcelligence Learning Corporation is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead operations at our Gardner, Kansas manufacturing facility. Our team produces non-toxic, child-safe paints, liquid watercolors, glues, and other educational art materialsdistributed throughout North America. This position is responsible for supervising daily manufacturing operations, leading production employees, maintaining quality standards, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing leadership experience and a strong understanding of batch-processing operations. Preferred Qualifications3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a batch-processing environment2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in paint, coatings, adhesives, chemicals, or other liquid manufacturing operationsWorking knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and quality systemsFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards and chemical handling practicesEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, chemical handling procedures, and company safety policiesStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsForklift experience preferredExperience with continuous improvement initiatives preferredKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate staffing and work assignments to meet production schedules and customer demandLead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and production goalsLead, coach, train, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goalsMonitor workflow, labor utilization, and production outputEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, chemical handling procedures, company safety policies, and quality standardsCoordinate inventory usage and raw material controlPartner with maintenance to minimize downtimeDrive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiativesMaintain production and inventory records Featured benefits 401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceTuition assistancePaid parental leavePaid time off and holidays Equal Employment Opportunity Excelligence Learning Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer.
