Manufacturing Supervisor 3rd Shift
Location: Farmington, CT
This position is responsible for supervising second shift employees engaged in Sheet Metal and Value Added operations to support safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives.
- Manage, hire, lead, motivate and train the Sheet Metal and Value Added Departments in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Exhibit confidence in self and staff. Resolve interdepartmental issues, accept feedback and give recognition.
- Interpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders. Assign duties to appropriate personnel.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Suggest changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or workforce.
