Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM / Overtime as Required
Pay: Based on Experience
Location: Parsons, Ks. Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced
Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safety, production performance, employee supervision, quality standards, and continuous improvement efforts.Requirements for the Manufacturing Supervisor
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Experience managing a 2nd shift operation
- Lean manufacturing experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Union manufacturing experience is a plus
Manufacturing Supervisor Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce safety programs and procedures
- Supervise, coach, and develop production employees
- Set and communicate production goals
- Schedule work and monitor productivity
- Manage attendance, performance reviews, and documentation
- Resolve production and employee issues
- Ensure quality standards and operating procedures are followed
- Support equipment maintenance and machine uptime
- Promote 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain ISO compliance and cross-training programs
