Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift - Bilingual Spanish

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) during training; transitions to 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM) upon full-time placement.

Pay Rate: $20.00 –/hr during 13-week evaluation period ($25.00/hr + merit bonuses upon full-time hire).

Overtime: Approx. 10% – 15% OT currently required.

We are seeking a hands-on, bilingual Technical Production Supervisor with direct experience in food manufacturing (e.g., confectionery, caramel, dairy, ice cream, or similar wet/dry food processing).

In this role, you will partner with our leadership team to maintain smooth production line operations. While team leadership is present, this position specifically focuses on mechanical/technical troubleshooting, line setup, and continuous production flow on the floor.

Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades Principales

• Technical & Line Support: Perform technical troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery to minimize downtime.
• Production Operations: Ensure high-volume food production lines run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety (HACCP/GMP) standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work directly with shift leadership to coordinate line workers, maintain quality control, and streamline shift handovers.
• Shift Expectations: Participate in a 13-week training program on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift operations.

Requirements / Requisitos

• Bilingual: Fully fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Food Manufacturing Background: Direct experience in food or beverage manufacturing (confectionery, caramel, ice cream, dairy, or general food processing required).
• Technical Aptitude: Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and proven experience troubleshooting production line equipment.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to complete a 13-week training period on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and transition to 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM) with 10–15% overtime as needed.

Compensation & Schedule Breakdown

• Training Phase (1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM): $20.00 – $21.00/hr during the ~500-hour evaluation period.
• Full-Time Direct Hire (2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM): Broadened rate around $25.00/hr, plus merit bonus eligibility and full benefits package.
