    Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer

    Job Description:

    Job Overview

    Supports quality assurance activities within manufacturing, focusing on real-time defect prevention and problem resolution.

    Your main Tasks

    • 1.Quality Control:
    • Maintain and develop the Quality Management according to IATF 16949.
    • Conduct regular inspections of injection molding processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
    • Perform visual inspections of molded parts for defects such as air pockets, warping, or surface imperfections.
    • Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy of molded components.
    • Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor process variability and identify trends indicative of potential quality issues.

    2.Defect Analysis and Root Cause Investigation:

    • Investigate root causes of quality issues, including analyzing process parameters, material properties, and tooling conditions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and maintenance to identify and address root causes of defects.
    • Implement corrective actions such as adjusting process parameters, modifying tooling, or updating work instructions to prevent recurrence of defects.

    3.Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of quality inspection results, defect analysis, and corrective actions taken.
    • Generate reports summarizing key quality metrics such as defect rates, scrap rates, and process capability indices.
    • Communicate quality performance metrics to relevant stakeholders and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

    4.Continuous Improvement:

    • Propose and implement process improvements to optimize injection molding parameters, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in injection molding technology, materials, and quality management systems.

    5.Training and Development:

    • Provide training and guidance to production operators on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect prevention strategies.
    • Foster a culture of quality consciousness among team members by promoting awareness of the importance of quality in all aspects of manufacturing.

    Your ideal background:

    • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in quality control within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
    • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools such as FMEA, Pareto analysis, and DOE.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in quality inspections and documentation.
    • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) is a plus.
    • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
