JOB SUMMARY:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams.
  • Shift is primarily 1st shift but can be asked to work later or earlier to help train/observe/audit a process.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams.
  • Analytical, Self-Starter, Detail Oriented & Effective Communicator
  • Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of M3, Factory track, Power-Bi, QA studios nice to have.
  • Knowledge of 6-S Safety regulations nice to have
  • Understands 6-S, FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard, Analysis, Critical, Control, Points).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supports the plant operations department in the area of Quality and Food Safety. Key contact for food safety regulatory authorities and auditing firms.
  • Ensure that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines.
  • Leads and supports internal and external audits.
  • Maintains quality and food safety records.
  • Performs records review and follow up on variances.
  • Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances.
  • Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities.
  • Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory.
  • Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.
