Job Title – Project Manager

Location – 6540 Franz Warner Pkwy, Whitsett, NC 27377

Contract – 12 months contract (possibility to go perm)

Pay Rate – $40 USD hourly on W2

Shift – 1st Shift 06:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead manufacturing projects from planning through implementation. This role will drive NPI, manufacturing transfers, capacity expansion, automation, process improvement, and manufacturing readiness initiatives while partnering with cross-functional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from initiation through completion, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate NPI, manufacturing transfers, production ramp-ups, and capacity expansion.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness, including tooling, equipment, documentation, staffing, and training.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and global teams.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and track KPIs for cost, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Lead project meetings and communicate status, risks, and milestones to leadership.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with NPI, automation, facility expansion, process improvement, or manufacturing transformation.
• Strong cross-functional and global project leadership experience.
• MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus.
