    Manufacturing Production Supervisor III
    Location: Denver, CO 80216
    Shifts: 1st Shift: 6am to 2:30pm / 2nd Shift: 2pm to10:30pm / 3rd Shift:10pm to 6:30am
    Days: To be decided as management is currently developing a schedule. Associates may be required to work weekends, potentially at least one day each weekend.
    interview: Candidates will have a panel interview.

    Position Purpose: Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.

    Key Responsibilitie:
    • Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
    • Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
    • Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
    • Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
    • Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
    • 1 of more years' experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Strong leadership background ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
    • Ability to manage and develop employees
    • Availability willingness to work hours and holidays
    • Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
