    Summary

    • Production Supervisor III
      Location:4301 Forest St, Denver, CO 80216

      1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm

      2nd Shift 2pm to10:30pm
      3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30 am
      *** please note which shift your candidate is interested in.

      Days of the week are TBD as management is currently developing a schedule.

      Associates may be required to work weekends, potentially at least one day each weekend.

      Is there a possibility this assignment will convert to full time employment? Yes

      Candidates will have a panel interview.

    Responsibilities

    • ​Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.

      ​Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      ​Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
      ​Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
      ​Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
      ​Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
      ​Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)


    Requirements

    • ​Minimum Qualifications:
      ​2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
      ​1 of more years' experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles

      ​Preferred Qualifications:
      ​Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
      ​Ability to manage and develop employees
      ​Availability – willingness to work hours and holidays
      ​Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.​
