This is the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with manufacturing production knowledge and strong computer skills to step into a leadership role. As a Production Supervisor, you'll guide day-to-day operations, support your team, and help drive efficiency.
Description
-Supervise and lead production employees by assigning work, establishing priorities, monitoring performance, and maintaining a high-performing team environment.
-Coordinate labor, materials, and workflow across departments to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met.
-Review work orders, build sheets, engineering specifications, and customer requirements to verify product configurations and resolve discrepancies before production.
-Oversee equipment and layout processes, ensuring finished products conform to engineering specifications.
-Manage labor hours, production efficiency, and budget performance; investigate variances and implement corrective actions to improve operational results.
-Coordinate material flow across warehouse, fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, and assembly departments to minimize delays and maintain production continuity.
Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
-5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
-Strong leader with excellent organization and planning skills.
-Experience in fabrication, welding, assembly, or comparable production work is strongly preferred.
-Experience in industrial manufacturing such as heavy equipment, truck body, or similar preferred.
