objectives. rn ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: rn rn Generates Bills of Material (BOMs) for procuring required material for the job. rn Generates work orders for each drawing for fabrication or assembly of parts in a timely and cost-effective manner. rn Identifies and generates requests for required tooling. rn Supports the Contracts Department with customer-directed changes. rn Implements drawing changes as needed by re-ordering materials and changing shop work orders and methods. rn Reviews drawings at the Preliminary Release phase. rn Work with Engineering on specification callouts and changes. rn Interprets drawings and assists in resolving customer and manufacturing questions. rn Support the Sales Department with quoting efforts. rn Support field service trips for product servicing and warranty efforts. rn Continually looks for opportunities to improve manufacturing time and cost. rn Provides input to update Work Instructions and procedures. rn Assist with training
