Manufacturing Production Coordinator

Innova HR Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Production Coordinator to work for a growing chemical manufacturing company to join their team. This position is located in Houston, TX. Pay range: $60-$70K per year depending on experience

What you'll do?

Develop and manage production schedule at the job level to maximize overall manufacturing and precision cleaning throughput

Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in materials or equipment needed to support production needs

Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, floor supervisor and section managers on cost and schedule; provide status to manufacturing management as issues arise

Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production requirements

Establish relationships with vendors to ensure that materials are available when needed

Use available tools to track the efficiency and productivity of the process on a daily/monthly basis

What you need to know?

4+ years chemical industry or manufacturing production experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing facility

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs.

Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.

Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines

Self-starter, strong leadership skills and team player with ability to produce quality results and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

Must be proficient in the use of computers and software, particularly MS Office tools
