    Introduction

    We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support our Manufacturing Process Engineering activities, focusing on Axle Assembly. The role involves driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity by applying engineering principles and analytical techniques.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Proven experience in Process Validation, Lean Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Engineering.
    • Strong skills in Process Engineering and Problem Solving.
    • Good Manufacturing Practices knowledge.
    • Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing process engineering experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
    • Prior work experience in the automotive industry or with automotive components.
    • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with Assembly Lines and Process Improvement.
    • Familiarity with PPAP processes and Lean Six Sigma.
    • Project management and equipment delivery experience.
    • Understanding of gauge R&R and capabilities studies.
    • Six Sigma experience and knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs.
    • Experience with Visual Factory Management and Ergonomic analysis.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Lead projects including delivery and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
    • Conduct process audits to ensure process discipline aligns with guidelines.
    • Perform job ergonomic evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Analyze carrier inventory root causes and engage in corrective actions to reduce rejects.
    • Create process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods and processes.
    • Resolve machining-related concerns and lead variability reduction initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with Plant, Corporate, Governmental, and Environmental standards.
    • Identify throughput constraints and drive root cause improvements.
